On Sept 29, 2018, THOMAS 6 set a new record in winning one of the biggest and toughest one loft races in the world - the Golden Algarve Final Race in Portugal. In a 315 miles race against 2,132 pigeons, THOMAS 6 arrived by himself winning by 24 minutes ahead of the 2nd racing pigeon! The weather was clear, very hot, near 90 degrees with head winds. Under these perfect race conditions only the finest and strongest pigeons in the racer were capable of returning on race time.
